A Brief History

Concrete Controls, Inc. was established in New Orleans in 1947 and incorporated under the laws of the State of Louisiana. The prime initial objective of Concrete Controls is the manufacture and sale of chemical admixture for the ready mix concrete industry in the United States and Worldwide.

 

In 1968, the company founded operations in Puerto Rico under the name Concrete Controls, Inc. (P.R.). It also has had operations in Spain under the name Concrete Controls Iberia and in Great Britain as Concrete Controls, UK. In 1978, the company purchased the operations and trademarks of Florida Laboratories of Gainesville, Florida including products, their formulas and trademark rights.

Presently operating from our new facilities in Albany, Louisiana, Concrete Controls, has trade extending south into Central and South America and west to its California headquarters for China and Asia -- all this while maintaining a large and loyal local market.

Throughout the years, Concrete Controls, led by its research and development program, has developed a variety of products under the Edecon trademark. These unique and effective admixtures are marketed worldwide. Along with these superior products, Concrete Controls offers its customers unparalleled technical support, engineering services and quality control in its fully equipped testing lab.
